Whispering Wings, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individuals to work as Registered Behavior Technician’s (RBT’s) and to join our team. We are seeking individuals that will be providing high-quality behavioral therapy to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, mental health diagnoses, and/or developmental delays that play a crucial role in the lives of these individuals. As an RBT, you will work directly under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement treatment plans and support individuals in achieving their individualized goals. This position requires a commitment to patient care, a strong understanding of behavioral health principles, and lots of compassion and patience.
RBT Purpose: To deliver quality, evidence based, applied behavior analysis services for the purpose of shaping children for their future. Your primary focus will be to provide support and education to clients, helping them develop essential skills and improve their quality of life through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Educate clients and their families about behavior management strategies and techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess client needs and progress.
- Support clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.
- Monitor client behavior and provide feedback to the supervising BCBA regarding progress and challenges.
- Conduct assessments related to behavioral therapy and contribute to the development of treatment goals.
- Assist in creating a safe and supportive environment for clients during sessions.
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
- Experience or training in behavioral therapy, special education, or working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding medical records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation.
- A compassionate approach towards working with individuals with diverse needs.
