What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper - Golf Course Maintenance position at Whispering Pines Golf Club?
Whispering Pines Golf Club is seeking full-time Groundkeepers to join the Golf Course Maintenance Team. Applicant must be a self-starter with an attention to detail, have a strong work ethic and communication skills. Must be available to work weekends.
As a full-time member of the Golf Course Maintenance team, we will train you on how to help maintain our beautiful 18-hole golf course and our Needler course. Some of the tasks performed include (but not limited to):
- mowing greens
- daily course setup
- raking sand traps
- mowing fairways
- mowing rough
- cleaning, blowing, sweeping, etc. clubhouse grounds area
- weed eating
- landscape bed maintenance
- irrigation repair/drainage project assistance
- detail work
**Requirement:
Employment with WPGC is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen.
