Job Summary
This is a seasonal position running from July 13th to approximately October 15th. We are seeking an experienced and versatile Handyman to join our team! In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various areas and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment. This is a resident owned mobile home park. Your proactive approach and practical skills will help keep our common grounds in top condition, supporting the overall operations of the Homeowners Association and maintenance department. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, and general repairs across the property
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from the Maintenance manager, Board members or Office manager to resolve issues efficiently
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards or repair needs before they escalate
- Assist with setup and teardown for events or special projects within the premises
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and repairs completed
- Collaborate with vendors or contractors when specialized services are required
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in general handyman duties such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a busy environment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for maintenance work
- Flexibility to handle diverse repair requests and adapt to changing priorities
