Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in hotel management or hospitality and possess excellent communication skills.
Guest Services:
- Greet and assist guests with check-in, check-out, and overnight inquiries.
- Provide concierge-level service, including restaurant recommendations, local area information, and personalized guest requests.
- Respond to guest complaints, requests, and emergencies in a prompt and professional manner.
- Ensure a warm and welcoming environment consistent with the Whisky Hotel brand.
Audit & Financial Duties:
- Balance all revenue and payment transactions from the day, including verifying charges and posting to guest accounts.
- Prepare and distribute the daily end-of-day reports for management.
- Reconcile front desk cash drawer and deposit payments in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Verify all billing is accurate, including room, food & beverage, and incidental charges.
Administrative & Operational Tasks:
- Prepare daily shift reports and communicate pertinent information to the morning shift.
- Complete required nightly checklists and ensure property-wide compliance with overnight procedures.
- Monitor security systems, conduct property walks, and ensure guest and staff safety.
- Assist with light cleaning and lobby maintenance to ensure hotel cleanliness and presentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous front desk or night audit experience preferred.
- Familiarity with property management systems (e.g., Opera, OTA's)
- Strong math, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
