Responsibilities
- Handle reservation requests via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and clarity, ensuring accurate booking details.
- Assist guests in purchasing camp supplies, souvenirs, snacks, and other store items using POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently.
- Provide product demonstrations and upsell items to enhance guest experiences and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain organized stock levels through merchandising, stocking shelves, and managing inventory to ensure product availability.
- Process cash handling transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures and maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Support the store team with basic retail math for transactions, pricing adjustments, and sales reporting.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate reservations, stock replenishments, and customer inquiries in a friendly manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience with POS systems or cashiering is preferred; strong basic math skills are essential.
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse guest population effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service expertise, are necessary.
- Experience in retail sales, merchandising, stocking, or grocery store environments will support success in this role.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while demonstrating attention to detail and integrity.
