Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Line Cook at Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar, located in Round Rock, TX. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to recipe and quality standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring food safety and sanitation protocols. This role requires collaborative teamwork to deliver exceptional dining experiences while maintaining efficiency in the kitchen. The Line Cook will also assist with inventory management and support kitchen operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and recipe execution
- Experience with kitchen safety and food handling standards, with a focus on cleanliness and proper sanitation
- Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills to manage multiple dishes simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes consistently
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen is preferred
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Food Handler certification or ability to acquire one before starting
