Job Summary
We’re looking for a dependable, long-term Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment. The ideal candidate has a verifiable work history in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, strong mechanical aptitude, and a safety-first mindset. Certifications are a plus and may impact placement or pay.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, shop equipment, and facility systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.
- Repair or replace bearings, motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, and related components.
- Read and interpret work orders, equipment manuals, and basic schematics.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment correctly and safely.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and document repairs, parts usage, and downtime.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and layout changes.
- Assist with facility maintenance tasks as needed (compressed air, shop utilities, etc.).
- Follow OSHA and company safety policies; report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Keep work areas organized, clean, and compliant with 5S/housekeeping standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently.
- Hands-on welding skills complemented by familiarity with schematics and technical diagrams.
- Supervisory or leadership experience overseeing maintenance teams or projects is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals accurately.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
