What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Sales Associate position at Whidbey Animals' Improvement Foundation (WAIF)?
WAIF thrift stores provide vital support to fund animal welfare programs. Consider joining WAIF on its mission by applying for a part-time sales associate for its thrift store in Freeland. This position will work approximately 24 to 32 hours a week, with a weekend day required.
Duties include organizing and merchandising donated items for resale. Main duties will include cashiering, with a focus on maintaining organized, well-stocked display racks and shelves, and ensuring the retail floor is safe and visually appealing to customers. May occasionally assist with general janitorial clean-ups, both inside and outside of the store.
Qualified applicants should enjoy working with the public in a fast-paced environment. A helpful attitude, focused on friendly customer service and a sense of humor, is a plus! Cashiering experience helpful but not required. The position will require heavy lifting of up to 35-50 lbs. If you love animals and retail, we want you to apply!
