Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced food production environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of kitchen management, restaurant operations, and customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in food production.
This person will join the leadership team that ensures the store is being correctly operated. This entails, but not limited to: daily prep, customer service, supervising shifts, and the biggie... increasing sales. This location has endless opportunity to do so through "boots on the ground" gorilla marketing.
The right candidate is a leader who has work ethic and is able to understand the big picture of the operational side of business. This person does not necessarily need to have previous food experience. The food side can be learned. The ability to lead people effectively is the most crucial characteristic of qualified candidates. A flexible schedule is required
A vehicle and drivers license is 100% absolutely required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including kitchen management, staff supervision, and customer service.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Manage team performance through effective training, mentoring, and development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
- Collaborate with the your team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Utilize POS systems for tracking sales, labor, managing transactions, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
- Increase catering sales- bonus attached to increase.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry is essential but we can discuss in person if your management experience is outside of the restaurant scope.
- Strong background in food production processes and kitchen management practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while promoting a culture of excellence in customer service.
- Familiarity with POS systems and their application in managing restaurant operations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with staff and customers alike.
