Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate staff schedules, ensuring optimal shift coverage and team performance during events and peak hours
- Lead team members by providing clear direction, motivating staff, and facilitating effective communication across departments
- Oversee guest services to ensure exceptional customer experiences, addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Manage day-to-day operations including event setup, breakdown, and venue maintenance to uphold safety and quality standards
- Assist in budgeting, cash handling, and inventory management to support operational efficiency and financial accuracy
- Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes, staff performance, and operational issues to inform management decisions
Skills
- Demonstrated leadership with previous supervising or managerial experience in hospitality or related fields
- Excellent communication skills for effective team management and customer interactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing, scheduling, and administrative tasks
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Experience in shift management, operations oversight, and guest services delivery
- Knowledge of budgeting, cash handling procedures, and operational management practices
- Technical proficiency relevant to venue operations including sound systems or lighting equipment (preferred)
