Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Opener to join our team. The Opener is responsible for preparing the establishment for daily operations by ensuring all necessary tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This role is essential in setting the tone for a successful day and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and readiness. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Unlock and inspect all entry points to ensure security and safety before opening
- Turn on necessary equipment and verify operational status
- Prepare the workspace by cleaning, organizing, and setting up supplies needed for the day
- Conduct safety checks throughout the premises to identify potential hazards
- Accepting the children in the morning, sign them in as needed.
- Prepare the breakfast and snack for each classroom.
- Ensure all areas are presentable and ready for staff and teachers for their day.
- Follow established opening protocols and report any issues or discrepancies to management promptly
Qualifications
- Prior experience in early education environments is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Punctuality and reliability are essential qualities for this role
- Good communication skills to coordinate with teachers and management
- Ability to lift light loads and stand for extended periods during opening procedures
- Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with basic safety procedures and operational equipment handling
