Position Summary
As a Landscaping Sales Representative, you will meet with prospective residential clients, evaluate their landscaping needs, recommend plant and landscape solutions that thrive in New Mexico's climate, prepare estimates, and close sales. You'll serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
No cold calling is required. Our company provides qualified leads, allowing you to focus on meeting with customers, building relationships, and closing sales.
Responsibilities
- Meet with company-provided leads at residential properties.
- Conduct on-site consultations to assess customer needs and project goals.
- Recommend trees, shrubs, plants, irrigation, and landscape solutions that are well-suited to New Mexico's climate.
- Prepare and present accurate estimates and professional proposals.
- Follow up with customers and answer questions throughout the sales process.
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure a seamless transition from sale to installation.
- Meet or exceed sales goals while representing the company with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years' experience in sales and landscape design.
- Experience with CAD preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs, and landscape materials that perform well in New Mexico's climate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Compensation & Employment Type
- 1099 Independent Contractor position
- 100% commission-based compensation. 10% commission on all closed sales.
