What will you do?

• Turn greyhounds out daily
• Assist with screening adoption applicants
• Clean and disinfect kennels and kennel areas regularly
• Oversee the health of each greyhound, including dispensing medications and bathing 
• Monitor groups of dogs while in a play group to ensure the safety of the pets 

More about you

• No high school diploma or GED required
• Experience working in an environment with large dogs of varied temperaments, preferably in a kennel setting
• Able to determine when a dog may need medical attention
• Organized with the ability to maintain schedules, appointments, and competing priorities
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift a greyhound and materials weighing up to 80 pounds
• Long-term standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors with varying weather conditions
