1. Collects soiled linens from department according to schedule.
2. Completes processing tasks such as counting, weighing, and recording items.
3. Utilizes automated equipment or manual processes to process and clean the laundry.
4. Delivers clean linens to departments and responds to special delivery or pick up requests.
5. Follows all sanitation and infection control guidelines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Position requires Sitting, Standing, Bending, Lifting, and Moving around facility.
2. Ability to lift 50 lbs and push a minimum of 125 lbs.
3. Ability to push and pull heavy, wet linen and move equipment and supplies throughout the work day.
4. Must be able to wear latex, vinyl, neoprene, and rubber gloves when performing certain Laundry duties.
