What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinet Builder/Installer & Production Manager position at Wheeler Woodworks?
We have 2 jobs available to fill
Production Manager - we are looking for an experience production manager that is able to manage our shop. This manager will need to know how to operate tools and build cabinets. You will also be placing orders for materials, reviewing CAD drawings for accuracy, and making sure the projects are getting done in a timely manner with accuracy. Attention to detail is a must.
Builder / Installer - we are currently looking for an experienced builder / installer for our custom cabinetry. In this role, you will be responsible for installation of our custom cabinets and work in the shop building cabinets when not installing. Must be detailed oriented in all aspects. Knowledge and understanding of CAD shop drawings a plus. The candidate must be reliable, able to drive, and courteous.

We work Monday-Thursday, 10 hour days.
Pay is based on experience.
Preferred experience in
- Artisan Construction
- Custom Build Up of cabinetry and trim
- Knowledge and understanding of CAD shop drawings
- Installation of casework/cabinetry
- Proficient in operation of Radial Saw, Table Saw, and Hand Tools
- Willingness to learn new skills and methods
Essential Functions
- Understand OSHA standards and comply with Company safety policies at all times.
- Complete assigned work on cabinetry.
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to use power tools and machines
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand.
- Ability to climb stairs, walk, and balance is frequently needed.
- Sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl is frequently needed.
- Push or pull to move equipment, open and close doors, etc.
- Climb ladders to perform some work
- Grasping/gripping/turning to operate tools/equipment.
- Lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs.
