Wheeler Power Systems, the power generation division of Wheeler Machinery Co. Utah’s authorized CAT dealer since 1951 is growing beyond state lines. While not all CAT dealers develop and build power plants, Wheeler Power Systems does. We’ve partnered with Wagner CAT (CO & NM CAT dealer) to bring our proven expertise in turnkey power generation projects to Colorado and New Mexico.

With dozens of successful natural-gas peaking power plants already deployed for municipal and COOP utilities in Utah, we’re now looking for the right person to lead the charge in CO & NM.

If you have experience in utility sales, EPC, distributed generation, renewables, or power systems and a passion for building long-term customer relationships this could be your next big move.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Developing deep relationships with key municipal & COOP utility leaders
• Identifying generation needs and providing customized solutions
• Consulting on load/resource analysis
• Leading complex proposals and closing multimillion-dollar projects
• Supporting customers through the full EPC cycle
• Driving energy innovation that supports grid resiliency, emissions reduction, and renewable integration

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Deep understanding of the utility space

✅ Strong sales and relationship-building skills

✅ Experience with power generation, renewables, or EPC projects

✅ Independent, self-motivated, and results-driven professionals

✅ Willingness to travel across CO & NM
