JOB TITLE: Retail Associate
PART-TIME, SEASONAL
March – Nov (Seasonal Time subject to change)
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE TIMES
(MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS)
$15 PER HOUR
DESCRIPTION: Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service, while doing day-to-day operations such as making sales transactions and maintenance of plants
DAILY DUTIES:
- General Customer Service- 60% - Answering questions, Making sales transactions, Selling plants and garden center supplies
- Maintaining plants- 30% - Watering, Planting, Trimming
- Cleaning- 10% - Keeping displays full, clean, and aesthetic
- ANY OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE NEEDED :
- 1 years experience in customer service
SKILLS AND ABILIT IES :
- Plant knowledge is helpful, but not necessary
- Can thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Can work well with customers & other employees
- Great communication skills
- Ability to operate POS systems and Apple devices
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Walking and standing for long periods of time
- Lifting up to 50lbs regularly
- Working in extreme heat, cold, and wet conditions
- Repetitive movement
