Duties
- Operate and maintain a variety of agricultural equipment
- Perform planting, spraying, harvesting, and other seasonal farming operations
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and basic repairs
- Assist with general farm upkeep and daily operations
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution for crops
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in farming or agricultural operations with hands-on knowledge of farm machinery and equipment repair
- Demonstrated ability to operate agricultural tractors, heavy equipment, forklifts, and other power tools safely and efficiently
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to agricultural machinery repair and maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with safety standards in production environments to ensure a safe working space for all team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while maintaining attention to safety protocols
- Excellent teamwork skills with supervisory experience considered an asset; ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Valid driver's license
Welding experience, truck driving experience, and irrigation system operation/maintenance are a plus!
