We are seeking experienced and certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our professional medical transport team. As an EMT, you will be responsible for delivering basic life support, ensuring patient safety and comfort during transit, and working collaboratively with dispatch and healthcare professionals to ensure quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to transport requests.
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care.
- Operate company vehicles in compliance with safety and traffic regulations.
- Accurately document all transports and patient interactions.
- Perform vehicle and equipment inspections at the start and end of each shift.
- Assist patients in and out of vehicles, including those requiring wheelchair or gurney transport.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, passengers, and medical staff.
Requirements:
- Valid California EMT certification.
- CPR certification (AHA or equivalent).
- Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients safely.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous NEMT or ambulance transport experience preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
- Must be at least 23 years old.
- Ability to pass alcohol and drug screenings.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
- First Aid & CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
- Vaccination required.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong sense of empathy.
