SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director of Business Development identifies and develops opportunities to drive revenue directly from National Account type customers to ensure that specific sales goals are met. The Director is responsible for the overall sales growth and business development of corporate business for Wheaton Van Lines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prospect for business opportunities and make sales calls on corporate accounts.
- Bring CRM disciplines that provide actionable metrics in all areas of sales and client relations.
- Engages with marketing leadership to provide a synchronized sales and marketing strategy for existing accounts.
- Provide regular communication to VP of Sales and Marketing regarding field activity.
- Build influential partnering relationships with corporate move management companies and other sources for the development of corporate accounts business.
- Identifies high impact industry events and organizations to maximize Wheaton’s exposure and prospects, establishes success metrics.
- Help maintain existing and new account relationships.
- Reviews business intelligence platforms and makes recommendations for enhancements.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors and network agents on new and existing account success.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills consistent with multifaceted business lines and collaborative working relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with strong verbal and written communication.
- Detailed and customer-centric approach to business practice and sustainable outcomes.

Salary : $85,000 - $115,000
