We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Wheaton Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Follow specific cleaning and service instructions as outlined by the director of environmental services
Follow cleaning procedures in a safe manner
Give an assigned unit the attention needed to provide a sanitary, odor-free, orderly environment for all concerns
Assist with room changes, as needed
Put Customer Service First: Ensure that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights
Perform other duties as requested
Job Type: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Specific Educational/Vocational Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent is preferred
Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language
Schedule:
Day and evening shifts available
