Pizza Cook Position — Wheated Louisville
Wheated Louisville, a New York-style pizza and cocktail restaurant, is hiring a Pizza Cook.
We are looking for someone with prior kitchen experience who has a passion for pizza, a strong work ethic, and a sharp attention to detail. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and understands the importance of consistency, communication, and food safety in a professional kitchen.
Evening shifts are available Wednesday through Sunday *(starting at 4 pm to close *(approx. 10:30 pm), and weekend availability is required.

Requirements:
- Prior kitchen experience required within the last 2 years
- Weekend availability required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Extremely reliable, punctual, and dedicated
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of pride in quality and execution
- We hire on the books — no exceptions
Bonuses available after 30 days
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with dough, opening pizza, stretching, topping, and working a pizza oven
- Prior professional pizza experience is a major plus
- General professional cooking experience is also a strong plus
Skills:
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Experience in a restaurant setting
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques
- Ability to work cleanly, efficiently, and consistently in a fast-paced kitchen
Offering:
- 12-16 hrs to start - after 30 days, up to 30 hrs
