Position Overview
The Pizzeria Manager oversees daily operations, supports team development, and ensures each guest experiences the warmth and quality Wheat’s is known for. This position also plays an important role in increasing customer traffic by helping create a guest experience that encourages people to return and confidently recommend Wheat’s to others.

ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Culture
- Lead by example in professionalism, calm communication, and steady standards
- Support and develop team members through clear expectations and coaching
- Help create a work environment built on respect, accountability, and pride in craft
- Partner with team leads to ensure consistent shift execution
Guest Experience & Growth
- Help increase customer visits through excellent service and consistent food quality
- Encourage an environment where guests feel welcomed and want to return
- Support local marketing efforts and in-store hospitality standards that strengthen reputation
- Identify ways to improve guest experience that lead to stronger word-of-mouth recommendations
Operations
- Manage daily restaurant flow including staffing, scheduling, and shift coordination
- Maintain consistent food quality through attention to preparation standards and kitchen organization
- Ensure efficient coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Support catering or specialty orders when applicable
Quality & Craftsmanship
- Help maintain our standards for slow-fermented dough, fresh ingredients, and brick oven preparation
- Encourage attention to detail in presentation, timing, and consistency
- Reinforce proper food handling and cleanliness expectations
Systems & Administration
- Manage inventory and ordering to maintain product quality while minimizing waste
- Oversee POS operations and ensure accurate cash handling
- Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and team training processes
- Ensure compliance with health and food safety standards
Qualifications
- Experience managing in a restaurant, hospitality, or food service environment
- Ability to lead a team with clarity, consistency, and encouragement
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Understanding of kitchen workflow and food preparation standards
- Experience with POS systems (Aloha, Micros, or similar) helpful but not required
- Commitment to professionalism and steady leadership
- Appreciation for quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation
- Ability to contribute to steady customer growth through strong guest experience
