Responsibilities of a Driver Mentor & Recruiting Manager:
Recruit Drivers
- Find and attract qualified driver candidates
- Build relationships through networking and referrals
- Attend job fairs and community events
- Guide candidates through the hiring process
Onboard & Mentor Drivers
- Conduct onboarding and orientation sessions
- Help drivers complete paperwork and onboarding requirements
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support
- Serve as a trusted resource for new drivers
Driver Engagement
- Build and maintain positive relationships with drivers
- Answer questions and provide ongoing support
- Help improve driver satisfaction and retention
- Promote a positive driver culture
Reporting & Team Support
- Maintain recruiting and onboarding records
- Track hiring and retention results
- Provide updates to leadership
- Work with internal teams to support driver success
Qualifications of a Driver Mentor & Recruiting Manager:
- Experience in recruiting, customer service, sales, coaching, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and people skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Positive and team-oriented attitude
