Assistant Engineer

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Assistant Engineer with a civil engineering degree. This is an entry level position. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is organized, has solid communication skills, is team oriented, and personable. This position requires a dependable, and versatile individual. Candidates are not required to have an Engineer In Training (EIT) registration, but EIT registration is desirable. This position will be based in our San Mateo office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare simple designs, reports, and calculations in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards under general supervision
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• California EIT Registration or actively pursuing EIT
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Dependable, problem solver, professional attitude and behavior
• Self-motivated and goal oriented, with strong attention to detail
• Solid experience with the MS Office Suite
  
  

We offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes company paid medical and dental insurance, vacation, and a 401(k) plan.
