The Auditor's Office has an opening for the position of Office Coordinator.
Job Summary:
Provides advanced administrative, operational, and office coordination support for a department, division, elected office, or management team. Coordinates office operations, records management, communications, budgeting, personnel support activities, projects, and customer service functions while serving as a primary administrative resource for assigned programs and staff. Develops and maintains office systems, processes, and documentation, supports management initiatives, and ensures compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Exercises independent judgment in organizing work, coordinating activities, resolving routine operational issues, and managing sensitive and confidential information.

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business administration, office administration, public administration, or a related field and two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative, office coordination, or office management experience involving public contact, records management, preparation of written materials, and administrative support, or a high school diploma or GED and six (6) years of progressively responsible administrative, office coordination, clerical, or office management experience.
- Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the essential duties of the position may be considered. Experience may substitute for education and education may substitute for experience when appropriate. Substitution does not apply where a specific degree, license, or certification is required by law, regulation, or professional standards.
- Depending on assignment, complete required training on applicable cash handling policies, procedures, and internal controls within one (1) week of employment.
- Authorize and successfully complete a background check prior to employment.
- Must pass job-related tests.
- Experience working in local government/public administration.
- Experience supporting management teams, elected officials, or multiple professionals.
- Experience with financial systems, human resources information systems, website administration, records management systems, desktop publishing, database management, or integrated business systems.
- Experience developing procedures, workflows, training materials, or public communications.
