Summary Description: This position is responsible for supporting the maintenance of Whataburger’s on-premise and cloud-based Infrastructure Systems. Supports the resolution of technical issues, user provisioning and deprovisioning, and ensuring cloud-based and on-premises systems comply with security and configuration best practices.
Responsibilities
- Performs user provisioning tasks including account moves, adds, and changes.
- Troubleshoots and remediates permission and login issues.
- Participates in the development, design, and implementation of the Identity and Access Management Platform
- Gains a basic understanding of on-premise infrastructure including VMWare ESX, VMs, Microsoft Windows Server platforms, Active Directory, Client Server apps, etc.
- Gains a basic understanding of cloud platforms and services.
- Researches and remediates alerts received from the monitoring platform.
- Engages in and comprehends the IT Change Management Process
- Documents server and process configurations and performs updates to those documents as environments change.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or
- Currently enrolled in college and have completed a minimum of 80 hours
- 0 – 3 months experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Proficiency in data entry and MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in JD Edwards preferred
- Elementary knowledge of practices and procedures in a particular field of specialization in the execution of assigned duties and responsibilities
- Elementary understanding of departmental structure and policies of Whataburger Restaurants LLC
- Expected to work the necessary time to satisfactorily fulfill job responsibilities
- Must be able to report to work timely and as required by operational/business needs
- Some travel, both locally and long distances, (including air travel), to worksites, meeting sites, and other locations may be necessary
