Wholesale Allocator

Overview:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Wholesale Allocator to join our team. The Wholesale Allocator will be responsible for managing the allocation of inventory to wholesale accounts, ensuring that products are distributed efficiently and effectively to meet customer demand. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of inventory management.

This is an exciting opportunity to work hands on with both vintage and contemporary pieces from top luxury brands such as Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton and more. The position involves working closely with many of the finest online and brick-and-mortar retailers on their curated luxury vintage selection.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Showroom Sales Team on a daily basis by supporting their needs with all aspects of wholesale sales
• Maintain showroom appearance
• Reconcile any merchandise discrepancies
• Re-ticket Merchandise
• Research and become familiar with product to verify authenticity, determine style names and competitive retail prices
• Stay up to date on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to ensure that product allocation strategies are aligned with business needs
• Assist in monitoring and allocating inventory to wholesale accounts based on sales trends, order quantities, and forecasts
• Ensure that products are available in the right quantities and at the right time to meet customer demand
• Ship and coordinate with Vendors on RA’s including repairs
• Prepare offer sheets for buyers with product photos, product info, price and margins
• Keep log of items sent out for repair
• Ensure efficient stock management by allocating products based on sales performance, regional demand, and customer needs, helping to reduce excess inventory and minimize stockouts
• Responsible for maintaining strict inventory control by working with Inventory Control Manager to maintain accurate inventory counts in multiple databases noting merchandise damages and shortages
• Liaison between store teams and showroom – Responsible for communicating with all store locations management team for luxury needs/requests, monitoring incoming and outgoing luxury product including transfers from all stores and storage, reconcile any merchandise discrepancies and provide assistance to the store teams when needed

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in wholesale allocation, inventory management, or a related field, preferably within retail, fashion, or consumer goods
• Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and inventory levels simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
