Dispatch Manager (Drivers)

We are seeking a Dispatcher to join our team!

The Dispatcher role manages our drivers, works as a team with other dispatchers, and supports the Transportation and Dispatch management team in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This position will be best suited for a reliable, self-motivated, culture-driving leader with an affection for detail and problem solving on-the-fly.

Principal Roles and Responsibilities:

• Dispatching drivers on routes on-time
• Ensuring that all drivers are using equipment properly and safely
• Supporting our drivers through any delivery and equipment issues
• Reporting and arranging maintenance and repair of trucks/trailers
• Communicate with our team regarding deliveries, recovery options, scheduling of deliveries, etc.
• Utilizing our software to maintain correct inventory as related to deliveries/product returns

Relevant Experience:

• Work experience in Logistics, Dispatching, Driver Management (5 year preferred)

• Excellent communication skills: verbal and written; professional and personal
• Excel at identifying and balancing competing priorities
• Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Teams, inventory management system, ELDs, Microsoft Word

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
