Wharton-Smith, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler to work in the in the Sanford, FL area. The successful candidate will be responsible for successful completion of tasks as assigned by the Senior Scheduling Manager.

Responsibilities
- Lead in the development of detailed baseline schedules in collaboration with project management and field teams.
- Provide oversight and direction to project teams on schedule development, updates, and recovery strategies.
- Able to perform in-depth reviews and critiques of project schedules for logic, float path, and overall health.
- Able to generate executive-level schedule reports, presentations, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to conduct forensic schedule analysis, including time impact analysis and delay claims.
- Able to facilitate schedule risk assessments during preconstruction and at key project milestones.
- Assist/Lead in developing, implementing and maintaining scheduling best practices, procedures, and tools across the organization.
- Able to coordinate with Estimating, Operations, and Executive teams to support pursuit schedules and resource planning.
- Knowledge of P6 or MSP and its application to complex construction projects.
- Knowledge of planning and scheduling principles and the Project Life Cycle.
- In-depth understanding of construction means, methods, sequences, and resource management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field or 4 years of working on large construction projects.
- MS Office product knowledge and work management systems.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and deadlines.
