About the Role
Wharton Properties is seeking a highly skilled Architectural Renderer / Visualization Specialist to support our leasing, development, and marketing teams with best-in-class visualizations. This role is focused on creating compelling retail and mixed-use building renderings used in tenant outreach, investor presentations, and internal development planning. The right candidate understands how to make real estate feel real — and how to tell a story through imagery.
What You’ll Do
- Produce high-quality exterior and interior architectural renderings for retail and mixed-use properties
- Create leasing visuals, storefront concepts, tenant test-fits, and streetscape renderings
- Translate CAD drawings, massing studies, and concept plans into polished marketing imagery
- Collaborate with leasing, development, architecture, and branding teams to align visuals with project goals
- Rapidly iterate concepts for pitches, tenant pursuits, and deal presentations
- Maintain a consistent, premium visual standard across all materials
- Prepare imagery for marketing decks, offering memoranda, websites, and signage
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of professional experience in architectural visualization, rendering, or related design work
- Strong portfolio demonstrating retail, urban streetscape, and building exterior renderings
- Proficiency in Photoshop, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with 3D modeling / rendering tools such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, Blender, Lumion, Enscape, or similar
- Strong understanding of lighting, materials, scale, and real-world context
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
- Strong visual taste and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deal-driven real estate environment
Nice to Have
- Experience creating retail storefront concepts and signage visualizations
- Familiarity with NYC urban context and streetscape aesthetics
- Experience supporting leasing teams or commercial real estate marketing
- Motion graphics or basic animation skills
