Job Summary
Assemble Palletizing and Depalletizing machines by Print Drawings. Operate and maintain shop equipment with precision and care. Use Various Hand Tools, Grinders, Drills, Tape Measures, Calipers. Ensure quality control standards are met on all projects. maintain a clean and organized workspace. Follow All Safety protocols and Guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and standard jigs, to ensure accuracy in production.
- Read and interpret Print Drawings to assemble components accurately.
- Detect quality defects, perform repeatable processes
- Collaborate with team members to implement Lean manufacturing principles for process improvement.
- Helping in other departments as needed, collaboration with engineering.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively in daily operations.
- Learning quickly and multitasking, able to be unsupervised.
- Operate fork truck in daily operations
- Be a team player and push projects forward.
- Communicate in work environment and identify bottlenecks.
Experience
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Mechanical ability, to help problem solve and find solutions.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
- Working with air lines and hydraulics is a plus.
- Ability to read prints, and Drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Mechanical ability, being eager to learn and improve on your incoming experience.
