Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Clinical Therapist (LMSW or LPC) at Whaley Children’s Center in Flint, MI. The Clinical Therapist will provide therapeutic services, including individual and family therapy sessions, conduct assessments, design treatment plans, and offer case management support to children and families. The role also involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to address mental health needs and promote overall well-being.
Qualifications
- Strong skills and professional knowledge in Social Work and Case Management
- Proficiency in Psychology and Mental Health practices
- Experience with Family Therapy and support services
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (LMSW or LPC licensure required)
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care is highly beneficial
- Prior experience working with at-risk children and families is a plus
