Job Description:
WH Trucking is looking for a Tractor Trailer Mechanic who will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of semi-trailers. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of issues, including electrical, mechanical, and structural problems.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Diagnose issues in semi-trucks and tractor-trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance on trailers
- Replace parts
- Document repairs
- Perform other duties as assigned by Fleet Manager
- Move trailers through out the yard
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and transportation
- Must be able to operate a fork lift
- Experience with various hand tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver's license
- CDL (Class A) holder preferred
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs
Wage Range: per hour
