Job Summary
Join our dynamic security team as an On-Call Unarmed Security Guard, where your vigilance and dedication will ensure the safety and security of our facilities, staff, and visitors. In this role, you will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies. Your proactive approach and strong sense of responsibility will help maintain a secure environment while providing excellent service to everyone on-site.
- Must have a valid WA. State Driver's License
- Neat, clean appearance
- Acceptable background
- Willing to work any shift day, swing, night (mostly night shifts) no scheduling restrictions
- Willing to travel anywhere within Mason County, WA, Grays Harbor County, WA, Thurston County, WA, Lewis County, WA

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, and contractors
- Respond swiftly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes
- Enforce property policies related to loss prevention and safety protocols
- Assist with conflict management by calmly de-escalating disputes or disturbances on-site
- Perform other job duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), loss prevention techniques, and conflict management strategies
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred to handle medical emergencies effectively
- Familiarity with security procedures, including access control and incident reporting
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and surveillance activities
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately in emergency situations
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders
