This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst based in Arlington, VA. The individual will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, developing and maintaining budgets and forecasts, and overseeing financial models to aid in decision-making. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing detailed reports, identifying trends, and proposing actionable recommendations to support strategic business goals.
- Experience in Financial Planning and Budgeting & Forecasting
- Strong Analytical Skills, including data interpretation and problem-solving
- Proficiency in Finance principles and practices
- Expertise in Financial Modeling and its application for decision-making
- Excellent quantitative and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus
- Experience in energy or utilities sector is highly advantageous
