What are the responsibilities and job description for the Punch Press Set Up position at WGJF Manufacturing Corp dba Hammer Mfg. Co.?
We are seeking a Punch Press Set-Up Person to Set Up and run Punch Presses of 35-135 Ton metal stamping presses.
Responsibilities:
- Set-Up and Operate machine tools to produce precision metal parts
- Maintain tooling, fixtures, and gages used in production, advise on needed repairs
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Calculate / Measure dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments
- Calculate material requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience using OBI Punch Presses to blank, pierce and form metal
- Familiarity with Punch press tooling
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail
