Digital Marketing Specialist Johannesburg, South Africa (Remote) Join a Global Marketing Team. Build High‑Impact Digital Experiences. We are looking for a detail-oriented, execution-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing operations team. This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates located in Johannesburg, who want to build their career in global marketing technology. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality production support across HubSpot and Drupal, ensuring digital assets are accurate, on-brand, technically sound, and delivered on time. If you enjoy building and optimizing digital components—emails, workflows, forms, landing pages, and website content—this is the perfect environment to sharpen your skills and grow. You’ll collaborate closely with our Senior Digital Marketing Specialist and marketing teams across regions while supporting the digital infrastructure that powers our campaigns and customer experience. Key Responsibilities HubSpot Production & Marketing Automation Build and execute digital assets including: Emails email templates Automated workflows and nurture streams Forms and progressive profiling Landing pages and thank‑you pages Perform QA checks (rendering, links, formatting, tagging, naming conventions) Assist with campaign scheduling, testing, and deployment Maintain consistent structure across campaigns, folders, and assets Support list creation, segmentation, and basic performance reporting Drupal Website Content Production Update and publish front-end content using Drupal CMS Ensure formatting, structure, metadata, and UX standards are followed Upload images, files, and documents according to content guidelines Conduct content checks before publishing Support recurring updates, landing page refreshes, and overall content maintenance Cross-Functional Support & Collaboration Work with internal marketing teams to fulfill HubSpot and Drupal requests Partner with the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to uphold best practices Collaborate with content owners to clarify requirements Communicate timelines, risks, and progress clearly Assist with light copyediting and content formatting Experience Required 1–3 years of digital marketing production experience (marketing automation, CMS updates, or campaign buildout) Hands-on experience with HubSpot and/or Drupal preferred Experience in a structured production, agency, or operations-focused environment is a plus HubSpot or Drupal certifications are an advantage Education Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or similar (preferred, not required with strong experience) Skills & Knowledge Proficiency with HubSpot, Drupal, and MS Office Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (bonus) Basic understanding of HTML/CSS a plus Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Comfortable following established processes and identifying improvement opportunities Curiosity to deepen expertise in marketing systems and automation Why This Role Appeals to Johannesburg Talent Opportunity to specialize in HubSpot, Drupal, and marketing automation Exposure to international marketing operations, processes, and standards Clear career growth into marketing operations, marketing technology, or marketing automation Supportive, process-driven environment ideal for upskilling #WKC #LI-GR1 Please note that by submitting an employment application you consent to World Fuel Services processing your information for this role and potentially for future employment opportunities, in accordance with applicable laws.
