Responsibilities
- Operate push lawn mowers,zero turn mowers, power tools, hand tools, to perform mowing, edging, trimming, and landscape installation tasks.
- Maintain and care for lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, and other plantings through pruning, trimming, fertilizing, and watering.
- Execute landscape maintenance activities including mulching, and soil preparation to ensure healthy growth.
- Install and repair irrigation systems to promote efficient watering practices across various landscapes.
- Assist with the installation of high-quality cedar fencing, including setting posts, building rails, and installing pickets with tight, consistent spacing
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship throughout all fence projects, including material handling, site prep, and final cleanup
- Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for properties.
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance to keep tools and machinery in optimal working condition.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment.
- Experience with lawn care techniques including mowing, edging, and aeration
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices such as pruning, planting, soil preparation, and irrigation.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery like excavators safely and efficiently for construction or landscaping projects.
- Familiarity with tree care including trimming and health assessments.
- Understanding of horticulture principles to support plant health and garden design.
- Ability to perform snow plowing operations safely during winter seasons.
- Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
