POSITION SUMMARY
The Performance Analyst is responsible for analyzing recruitment footage as well as recording and analyzing video footage of first team training sessions and matches. This role will collaborate closely with the video analysis staff, first team coaching, and technical staff to further performance results on and off the field and report to the Sporting Director.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Use ACFC role profiles to conduct in-depth player evaluations using data-driven metrics, video analysis, and live scouting to assess technical, tactical, & physical attributes.
- Provide detailed reports to support recruitment decisions and squad planning.
- Utilize advanced scouting platforms, performance data, and opposition analysis to identify potential signings that align with the club's playing philosophy, budget constraints, and squad needs.
- Review, analyze, and deliver video scouting reports
- Film and manage video recording of all first team training sessions and games.
- Prepare, produce, and share first team training sessions and games with applicable technical staff.
- Analyze video footage and prepare recap notes on players and teams.
- Assist coaching staff in scouting opponents for upcoming matches.
- Organize and facilitate individual training and game clips for all first team players.
- Other duties as directed by the technical and coaching staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with a professional football team or related position required.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Statsbomb IQ, Sportscode, and HUDL Platform.
- Experience operating a drone proficiently.
- Experience adding illustrations to video.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be a team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment.
- Ability to work productively and multi-task in an unstructured fast paced environment with frequent interruptions and tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in English - both verbal and written.
- Flexible work schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as the event calendar requires.
- Must be able to obtain or have a valid and current U.S. passport or visa and travel with team as needed.

COMPENSATION
In addition to the benefits above, this role has a pay range between $90,000 - $100,000 annually.
