Key Responsibilities:· Assist in the talent acquisition process from recruiting, sourcing, scheduling interviews, drug testing, background checks and onboarding new employees· Manage employee benefits including communication, coordination, and processing of annual open enrollment activities and all new employee benefits orientations· Develop and implement employee policies and procedures and maintain employee handbooks· Guide leadership on personnel matters, policy reviews, and HR company-wide programs· Provide guidance on strategic organizational growth and staffing· Responsible for maintaining employee personnel files· Manage Workers Compensation accident reporting in coordination with the Safety Manager· Perform administrative functions associated with safety and OHSA requirements· Manage the employee termination process including exit interviews and timely response to unemployment claims· Oversee event planning and wellness programs· Backup for office administrationRequired Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources / Business Administration, or related field· 8-10 years, hands-on, well rounded senior generalist experience including safety and compliance· Prior experience in the construction industry a plus· PHR / SHRM certification desired· Ability to travel within the state as neededCompany DescriptionOur company has a great reputation with steady work volume.
