Electromechanical Technician

We are looking for an Electro-Mechanical Technician. This position is responsible for the setup and minor/major repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment within the facility. Quality of assembly is a top concern to ensure that the correct components are used by following samples, orders, and other documents to meet product specifications.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and analyze complex Electrical and Mechanical equipment failures.
• Dismantle, repair, and assemble complex Electrical and Mechanical equipment components
• Learn and operate production equipment to understand the process
• Support of plant manufacturing equipment and projects
• Perform reactive and preventative maintenance as required
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings for equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix robotic failures
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company standards and the 6S program
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and replace any equipment components
• Responsible for training as assigned
• Must follow all company policies and procedures  
• Other duties or special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• 4-8 years’ experience in troubleshooting and maintenance repair
• High School/GED required, Associates Degree preferred
• Advance knowledge and work experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Proficient with the use of adjustable measuring devices, rules, scales, gages, and fixtures
• Experience in troubleshooting and fixing PLC programs
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix robotic failures
• Power truck experience a plus
• Ability to identify, solve problems, and multi-task under deadlines
• Advanced computer skills, (SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivational, enthusiastic, and have a positive attitude
• Must have a verifiable electronic background
