We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable CNC Machine Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating CNC equipment, inspecting finished parts, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is efficient, organized, and capable of working independently while supporting overall shop operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine setup and operation experience
- Operate CNC machines in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
- Inspect machined parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Accurately complete inspection reports and job traveler documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with general shop tasks as needed
- Communicate tooling, equipment, and supply needs to shop management
Required Qualifications
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Comfortable working with hand tools and shop equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CNC machine setup and operation, including turning centers and VMC mills
- Familiarity with Haas CNC machines
- Experience working with Universal Robots systems
- Knowledge of CAM software such as Mastercam, Esprit, or Fusion 360
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- General knowledge of machining tools and processes
