Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Residential Assistant to join our inpatient substance use treatment facility. Our program is a 16-bed residential setting that provides 24/7 supervision and support to clients in early recovery. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment during overnight and weekend hours.
Schedule Needs:
- Overnight shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (weekdays)
- Weekend coverage: Day and night shifts as needed
- Flexible scheduling available
- Must be willing to work holidays as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide overnight supervision and support to residents
- Ensure facility safety and adherence to house rules
- Conduct routine checks and document observations
- Offer appropriate support and redirection when needed
- Communicate concerns to clinical and supervisory staff
- Assist with maintaining a calm, respectful, recovery-focused environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to remain alert and responsible during overnight shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass a drug screen and background check prior to hire
- Vehicle with proof of insurance
