We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing materials, operating various types of warehouse equipment, and ensuring safe and accurate handling of products. Your expertise will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards across all activities.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport products within the warehouse
- Execute order picking with precision using barcode scanning technology and order picker equipment to fulfill customer orders accurately
- Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and updating warehouse management systems
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all inbound and outbound shipments are properly documented and verified
- Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal functionality in compliance with OSHA safety protocols
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials for efficient storage and retrieval
- Adhere strictly to forklift safety protocols, manual handling guidelines, and overall safety standards in production environments
Skills
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling machinery
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and barcode scanning for logistics accuracy
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following OSHA safety standards in production areas
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively and support warehouse distribution efforts
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures including load & unload operations
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy
