Weyland Ventures subsidiary, Genuine Work is hiring for a Sales & Property Manager.

The Sales and Property Manager is the leader of Genuine Work and responsible for the successful oversight, direction, and coordination of operations, sales and marketing, reputation management, and community engagement of Genuine Work. The Sales and Property Manager relating to reputation and community engagement of the operations while building strong, positive relationships with tenants, colleagues, capital partners, and various community partners

Primary responsibility is to provide presence as and point person for managing the day-to-day operations of the co-working space. This person will also be responsible for managing any hourly teammates specifically assigned to the co-working space. Areas of emphasis include daily inspections, preventative maintenance, vendor management, and team management. Works proactively with others to ensure minimal revenue loss from commencement dates. Generally, this position will work Monday – Friday during the hours of 9am – 5pm but may vary depending on business need.

  • Provides day-to-day oversight to co-working tenants, which may include, but are not limited to housekeeping, maintenance, community management, and sales and marketing.
  • Preparation and timely submission of periodic reports, in a format and on a schedule as determined by the Corporate Director of Operations.
  • Responsible for the overall leasing for all co-working spaces and coworking space members. Maintains regular communication with all tenants to ensure retention once initial agreement has expired.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants and clients.
  • Address commercial tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct periodic property inspections.
  • Implement strategies to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor lease renewals and coordinate renewal letters.
  • In coordination with Facilities Maintenance, ensure building-wide repair/maintenance projects are completed on a timely basis and follows up with tenants to ensure work is satisfactory.
  • Identifies and records problem areas for tenants and proactively works internally to resolve; Follow up with tenants to confirm issues have been resolved.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with tenants and members to improve performance. Focuses on building strong, professional relationships which can have a significant impact on occupancy and tenant/member enrollment and retention.
  • Communicates and coordinates with tenants/members with respect to the operation and maintenance of shared building systems, common areas, etc.
  • Develop strong understanding of lease and membership terms including key economic points and both tenant/member and landlord responsibilities.
  • Ensures compliance with requirements including operating requirements, hours of operation and use clauses.
  • Minimize risk by monitoring and managing the space in Genuine Work; follow up with tenants to ensure all lease payments are due/collected.
  • Assure compliance with contracts pertaining to assigned properties.
  • Maintains positive relationship with local community. Build a network of community business partners and organizations that can assist in the increase of business to Genuine Work.
  • Collaboration with marketing for on-site events, tenant partnerships, holiday operational needs, business development or other income generating opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
