Our McComb, MS lumber mill has an immediate opening for an Hourly Safety Coordinator. This position is a full-time developmental role that will provide excellent growth potential and opportunities for advancement. This position will report to the site Safety Manager and assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs to ensure personnel and facility safety. Participates in monitoring and controlling execution of the organization’s safety standards to ensure compliance with OSHA and State/Provincial regulations. Assists in the development and implementation of programs and record keeping systems to track and evaluate personnel injury and illnesses. Assists with internal audits and incident investigations and inspections of procedures, equipment, and materials.

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $50,100-$75,100 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

- Knowledge of chemical and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) systems management
