Weyerhaeuser has an immediate opening for a Mill Manager to lead our lumber manufacturing facility in Magnolia, Mississippi. This is a full-time, salaried exempt position reporting to the Director, Gulf South Lumber Manufacturing.
The Magnolia Mill Manager is responsible for the safe and reliable manufacturing and on-time/in-full delivery of products to customers and ensures that business objectives are met for the site. Other critical responsibilities include fostering an engaged, people focused culture, controlling product cost and inventory, and developing future leaders.

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $144,790-$217,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 25% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target. Long-Term-Incentive Plan (LTIP) target in form of stock options.

- At least 10 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment with proven record of positive accomplishments in safety, quality, productivity, cost and people development
- Outstanding teaming and interpersonal skills that effectively engage teams to meet business goals and ensure successful teaming/networking within the region, the Wood Products business and the company as needed
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Demonstrated ability to raise performance by building and maintaining positive relationships with all associates and leaders through coaching, development and instilling a continuous improvement mindset
- Proven record to effectively engage associates in behavior-based safety techniques
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Able to work flexible hours as needed in a mill environment
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technical (engineering or other) or forestry/wood products discipline
- Manufacturing experience in wood products with preference in lumber
