Information Systems Engineer 2

Production Support Issue Resolution:

• Program support, creating and maintaining files, reformat jobs, and merchant site loads

• Support production sales files; respond to file issues as required

• Requires on call support for Priority 1 requests

• Review authorization logs and understand auth messages - live or past date

• Troubleshoot and assist with authorization issues with merchants and any third parties involved

• Run queries to validate inquiries from various parties

• Be able to analyze and assist with data file questions

Specification Adoption Projects:

• Interface with external accepting merchants, network processors, point of sale vendors and software providers, and their testers

• Key participant on cross-functional teams implementing authorization specification and point of sale upgrades

• Implementation of new functionality for transaction processing & message completion

• Participate in the creation of system requirements for authorization projects

• Develop and facilitate test plans

• Perform testing analysis, identify action items; recommend solutions

• Recommend specification changes as a result of project, industry trends

• Secure testing and update environments as required for projects

• Prepare and maintain project documentation related to system requirements, test plans and results

• Identify enhancement and change requirements to simulated test environments

Business Support:

• Point of sale terminal and network certifications

• Create and deliver scope definition as needed

• Create test scenarios, facilitate testing, perform analysis, report results

• Create and deliver quality assurance turnover documentation to initiate implementation

• Consult with card program partners, accepting merchants and third parties regarding settlement, tax, site load and sales file specifications

• Establish product code tables; perform mapping and maintenance as required

• Technical set up of new network and merchant relationships

• Service changes performed as needed for networks, reporting and merchants

Minimum Required Qualifications for Consideration

• Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or comparable role.

• Ability to read, interpret, and drive compliance with the WEX 8583 Card Payment Authorization specification (multiple versions)

• Ability to read, interpret, and drive compliance with the WEX Proprietary Sales Transaction file specification (multiple versions)

• Demonstrated experience with the creation, facilitation and monitoring of test plans
