What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer Program Design & Enablement Lead position at Wevise?
Wevise is on a mission to level the playing field in tech. Through direct programming and partnerships with nonprofits supporting underserved and disadvantaged people to enter and advance in the technology industry, we provide access to mentors, training and educational opportunities, and careers.
Our goals
Our second program is called the TechPath Alliance, which is a city-focused program currently being piloted in Chicago, IL. The initiative brings together nonprofits and for-profits to collaboratively run a 6 month mentoring and career development program for underserved emerging tech professionals.

Help shape Wevise's mentorship program by defining the 16-week participant journey, building a scalable program model, developing mentor and mentee materials, and translating program needs into clear requirements for our product and engineering partners. We're looking for someone with program design, community building, or learning and development experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for social impact.
Who We're Looking For
Someone who has designed or scaled programs, communities, or learning experiences, is comfortable building structure from scratch, and can turn high-level ideas into clear processes and documentation. Relevant backgrounds include nonprofit programs, learning and development, community building, member experience, or program operations.
Our goals
- Support underserved and disadvantaged people to enter and thrive in the technology industry
- Partner with organizations who need mentorship and career placement programs to complement their main programming, helping them to better serve their beneficiaries
- Support companies in finding the right, often diverse, candidates
